Membership to fun

A membership at HangDog is the key to getting into the climbing community and having loads of fun...and cheap too.
With a membership you are able to climb as often as you like. Duck in just for a 30min boulder if you feel like it. Memberships also get you great discounts off gear purchases.
Ongoing Membership
We use an ongoing pay per month system similar to regular fitness gyms. We simply take the monthly amount out of your Credit/Visa Debit Card at the start of each month. The good news is that there are no contracts. Quit when you want (it is our job to make sure you never want to).
Free Membership
Climbers who were full paying members for more than 3 months and have lost their job due to COVID, and still haven't found a job, are eligible for two months free membership.#supportyourcommunity
Hardship Off Peak
If you are a regular climber and are in our system (belay license, 10 trip, membership, etc) and you have lost your job due to COVID, you can get an Off-Peak membership for just $20 per month. Once you get a job again, you'll need to start paying the full price.​For children this can be used if a parent has lost their job. Please remember that Off Peak daytime doesn't apply during school holidays.
Off Peak Membership
​Unlimited entries during off-peak hours.On-Peak entries can be purchased for $8 when you have an Off-Peak Membership.
If you enter on an Off Peak pass you must
  • Enter before 4:30 and leave by 5:45pm on weekdays.
  • Or enter after 8:00pm on weekdays
  • Or enter after 5pm on weekends.
Off Peak casual entry prices do not apply during school or public holidays during the weekday.
Ongoing Membership
An Ongoing Membership is completely unlimited. Climb as much as you like.

Dual Gym Membership
The big kahuna of memberships. Completely unlimited climbing at both Faultline and Hangdog.

Conditions and TermsThe above rates are for an ongoing membership. Payments are automatically taken out of a Credit/Debit Card. While there isn't a minimum term, 1 month notice must be given for termination. Payment must be automatically made via our Credit Card system.
There is a join up fee of $35.
Prepaid memberships
Prices for prepaid non-ongoing memberships. Prepaid memberships get the same benefits as our permanent members but it is not ongoing.

Freeze
Freezing a membership allows you to avoid the $35 sign up fee. You will be charged $8 per month until the account is unfrozen. So its worth freezing if you plan on coming back within 4 months. We can only freeze whole months at a time. i.e. we can't do the last two weeks of December and the first two weeks of January. We'd have to do either all of December, or all of January, or both.

Termination
You can terminate when ever you like. Just remember that when you rejoin there will be the $35 join fee.
You can freeze to avoid this fee.
NOTE: You need to terminate well before the end of the month otherwise we wont have time to process it. Remember that you agreed to give us 30 days notice on the membership form you signed :)
