Stone Monkeys

Stone Monkeys is our after school kids climbing club! Classes run every weekday after school during the school term for age groups between 8-15 years old. Classes are all about having fun and making new friends, playing games, completing climbing challenges, and learning about climbing technique in the process! Classes are mainly focused on bouldering (low height climbing), however kids above 8 years old will be able to learn and practice belaying each other on the high walls. Groups for kids age 13-15 are slightly more self-directed with a focus on improving climbing abilities and practicing more advanced techniques. The club does not run during the school holidays or on public holidays. Days & Times Class for 8-9 year olds: - Tuesdays 3:45 - 4:45

There are 8-10 sessions per term depending on term dates and public holidays.
Club ShirtsKids are encouraged to earn their Bouldering and Belay licenses during class time. The licenses are earned by consistently demonstrating safe and competent bouldering and belaying, and once achieved, allow your climber to purchase a Stone Monkeys club t-shirt. Kids wearing their Stone Monkeys t-shirt are allowed to climb in the larger 13+ bouldering room (Transformer Room). Club shirts are $25.50 and can be purchased once your climber earns their belay license. (Note: the 8-9 year old class only requires their bouldering license to purchase their club t-shirt as they are too young to belay)
Club shirts must be worn during all club sessions.
Waitlist All of the Stone Monkeys classes have a waitlist for new kids wanting to join. Please fill out a waitlist registration form by clicking on the buttons below!
